The name’s Laurence Elsdon..

Hi, I’m Laurence Elsdon, an 18 year old web designer and developer based in Norwich, UK. I’m currently working at Adept Design, where I’ve been challenging myself working on a broad range of projects including Pump Aid, National Eye Health Week and Cycle Cote d’Azur.

Since November I’ve been developing Cascade; the perfect content management for me and my clients, it allows me to rapidly develop and deploy accessible, search engine optimised, database driven websites.

With Cascade I know that my clients have the tools they need to create and edit pages, write a blog and communicate with subscribers by email newsletter; because it’s my own code I can easily extend or adapt it to suit the requirements of any project.

Something to read..

The things I do..

Website design is where it all begins. Colour theory, typography, composition and so much more.

Website development is the turning of the nuts and bolts to get those pixels performing to perfection. My tools of the trade are XHTML, CSS, jQuery and PHP.

Search engine optimisation will build your website’s performance in search engines for the keywords that suit you.

Content management, blog posts and email newsletters all taken care of by Cascade, my user focused Media Engine.

Social media couldn’t be bigger so why not take advantage of the craze and make the most of word-of-mouth?

Website hosting and domains let me take care of everything and I promise you won’t regret it and it’ll make your life easier.

Copy writing, web copy isn’t the same as print copy so if you haven’t the time to read endless usability studies, let me take care of it for you.
